I'm very sorry for your loss. I would like to share a thought that has helped me. Isaiah tells us that "He (God) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces". (Isaiah 25:8,9). Jesus confirms there will be a time when death will be no more and he also promises a resurrection, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life. (John 5:28,29). What a glorious promise to look forward to, when we can see our loved ones again. Comfort can also be found at Psalms 55:22 where Jehovah God invites us to "throw our burdens upon Jehovah". I hope you will be able to get some comfort from these scriptural thoughts as I have.
