Wawrzyniak, Zbigniew “Bish”- 90 of Mechanicsville, VA peacefully passed away, Tuesday, August 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Theresa; 2 sons, James (Jimmy) and Andrew (Andy); and a sister, Elenora Bujnowski. He is survived by his son, Karl Wawrzyniak (Susan); daughter, Mary Diggs (Paul); 11 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Bill Czerniakiewicz. “Bish” proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a hard worker and loved his time spent with his family. A private graveside service will be held, Monday, August 16, 2021, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1st Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Fisher House Foundation, 1201 Broadrock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249.
