William "Bill" Schaefer

SCHAEFER, William “Bill”, 65, of Mechanicsville and formally of New York, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Schaefer. Bill is survived by his wife, Valerie Accordino; his father, William John Schaefer; his sister, Valerie Schaefer; and his favorite Newfie, Abby. Bill loved motorcycles, playing with dogs, and was a diehard New York Mets and Jets fan. The family is receiving friends from 4PM to 6PM with a funeral service to follow on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA, 23111.
