Morgan, William Ray- 67 of Highland Springs, VA departed this life to be with the Lord on January 3, 2025. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Dora Lee Page; and his father, Billy Ray Morgan. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 25 years, Kathy Morgan; Two stepchildren, Matthew Ryan Shobe and Jeremy Kyle Shobe; a brother, Allen Morgan; two sisters, Connie Crews and Debbie Morgan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ray really liked to fish. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends every chance he got and spending time with his wife. He loved music and would often walk around the house making up lyrics to songs and would always find a way to insert Kathys name into it to sing to her. Ray would always surprise her with flowers. Sometimes in the winter months when he was unable to plant them for her himself, he would buy bouquets of flowers to hide in random places for her to find. Ray was a lover of all sports, especially the Redskins. He also loved their fur babies, Tyler and Lilabit. His wife and friends will host a Celebration of Life on February 15, 2025, from 2 - 4 PM at the VFW, 1501 Old Williamsburg Road, Sandston, VA 23150.
