WAINWRIGHT, Wallace; 76, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away, Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born in Blackstone, VA to the late, William Wallace Wainwright and Marjorie Creed Wainwright. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Lawrence and a sister, Judith Carol. Wallace is survived by his son, Justin Wainwright and his wife, Dan’e; his grandson, Connor; a sister, Edna Hyde of Oxford, NC; and his best friend, Paul Bullington. Wallace proudly served his country in the US Army. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from VCU. He loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed cooking, but his greatest joy was his time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandson. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date to be announced.
