W. Stanley Moore, Sr.

Moore, W. Stanley, 81 of New Kent, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. and Alice B. Moore, and his two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Sissie Moore, W. Stanley Moore Jr. (Stephanie), Tony Moore (Theresa), Tim Moore, and JW Moore (Jamie); along with six grandsons and one great granddaughter. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing antique tractors. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at Monaghan Funeral Home; 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.  A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church; 5061 Hopewell Rd, New Kent, VA 23124. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Kent County Rescue Squad and the Hopewell Baptist Church building fund.
