STEVENS, Virginia “Ginny”, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2026. She was a member of Fairmount Christian Church. Ginny was born and raised in Richmond, VA, and resided in Sandston, VA. She loved her home and will be remembered most for her sewing and gardening. Ginny is survived by her husband of 69 years, Curtis “Sonny” Stevens, Sr. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Curtis Stevens, Jr.; and her grandson, Kenneth “Kenny” Gooch, II. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Gooch, Kathleen (Tony) Griffin, James (Jane) Stevens, and Craig (Michelle) Stevens; her grandchildren, Melonie (Chad) Alligood, Daniel (Devon) Gooch, Victoria Stevens, and Emily Stevens; and her 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fairmount Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service held at 11:00 AM at Fairmount Christian Church. The interment will be private.
