Twila Nicole (Turner) Campbell

Campbell, Twila Nicole Turner 41, of Ashland, VA entered her eternal rest, Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Turner, and her grandfather, Ralph E. Williams. Twila is survived by her children, Cassidy “Laynie” Travis, Austin Travis, and Adalyn “Addy” Campbell; a granddaughter, Memory Layne Dow; her mother, Barbara Williams Turner (Bert “Bo” Davis); brother, Shane Turner; her grandmother, Myra Ware; the father of her children, Doug Campbell; and a special friend, Robbie. Twila was a prissy- tomboy. She loved sports, especially football and always wanted to play with the boy’s team. She loved horseback riding and won many ribbons in competitions. She was a daredevil and enjoyed singing and dancing. She was very talented and loved to make crafts. Twila made friends everywhere she went, in part to the beautiful smile she always wore like a crown. She had a huge heart and was always helping others. She was loving, giving and kind, and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all those who donated to her memorial fund for their generosity during this difficult time. A Funeral service will be held, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Woodland Cemetery , Ashland, VA.
