Tammy Lynn Mooney

MOONEY, Tammy L., 64 of Mechanicsville, Virginia entered eternal rest on November 17, 2023, after fighting two courageous battles with cancer. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred D. Tucker. She is survived by her father Bobby Wright, her husband Ernest W. (Bill) Mooney, her daughter Carrie (Neil), her son John (Brandy), her special granddaughter and caregiver Katelynn (Peyton), her stepsons Lee and Will and her grandson John.  Tammy is also survived by her sisters Kim, Laurie (Deb), Theresa (Ray), Allison (Curtis), her brothers Andy (Sherry) and Jimmy (Erin) and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held at New Song Church, 7450 Colts Neck Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 on November 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the St. Jude’s Foundation at www.stjude.org.
