Susan Fay (Peace) Roe

ROE, Susan Fay, 61, of Mechanicsville, VA left us in peace on August 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon Luther, and Katherine Wynn Peace; sister, Patricia; aunt, Betty, and uncle, Hugh. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Matthew. Susan loved to knit and crochet and donated countless pieces to the Red Cross Web of Hope. She was also an active member of the National Federation for the Blind. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Black Creek Baptist Church, 6289 McClellan Rd Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a funeral service to begin at noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Virginia Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
