STEWART, Sherrie G; age 64, of Petersburg, VA, passed away September 20, 2022. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Lloyd Addison Stewart, her father, John H. Neely, and her brother Dennis Neely. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Neely, her siblings; John Herbert Neely Jr., Rose Wittingham, Sharon Price, Sandra Morrison, Bonnie White, Beverly Bartholomew, David Neely, and Michelle Helsel, her children; Margarita Long (Noal), Medea Papagiacumos, Jason Papagiacumos (Julie), Alexander Papagiacumos (Amber), Nikolas Papagiacumos, Demitra Papagiacumos (Craig), and Athena Papagiacumos, many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Sherrie loved music, singing, and dancing. She also loved to crochet. She was a former member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge and St Elpis Greek Orthodox church. A service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. There will be a reception to follow at the funeral home.
