Scott Edwin Nelson

Scott Edwin Nelson, 44 of Mechanicsville, Virginia, formerly of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2025.

Born and raised in Monroeville, Scott was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid sports fan, and his heart belonged to his hometown teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. Whether cheering from the stands or watching from home, Scott found joy and connection in the games he loved.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Donna Lee Nelson; his sister, Amy Nelson Miller; his brother, Richard David Nelson; and his cherished nieces and nephews, who brought him great pride and happiness. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Carl Nelson, and his sister, Kristen Donna Nelson.

Scott will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where he will be reunited with family who have gone before him.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his loyalty to those he loved, and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
