Sandra Johnston

JOHNSTON, Sandra L. “Sandy”, 68 of Mechanicsville, VA went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robbie Johnston; her parents, Lewis Lane and Cassandra Lane; her father-in-law, Cowboy Bob Johnston and mother-in-law, Nancy Johnston. She is survived by her four children, Ernie, Matt (Krystal), Aaron (Melissa), and Wendy (Matt); her eleven grandchildren, Noah, Jacob, Jordan, Zoe, Hunter, Bailey, Kelsey, Beau, Lilah, Atreyu, and Leland; her sister, Cathy (Bubba); her mother-in-law Carol Johnston; her brothers-in-law, Mike and Tom; her sisters-in-law, Lisa, Lori and Ashley; and her pets, Izzie and Luna. Sandy devoted her life to raising her children whom she adored. She loved her husband and enjoyed time with him at Lake Gaston when she was not helping him run his business. She took pride in their home and dedicated time to beautifying their yard. Sandy was a great cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She led by example and shared the love of Jesus with everyone she met.  A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222.
