Russell H. Paff

PAFF, Russell H. 83 of Sandston, VA peacefully, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas G. Paff, Jr. and his mother, Eleanor A. Miller; his beloved wife, June E. Paff; a daughter, Robin McCarthy; a granddaughter, Taren M. Paff; and his brother, Thomas Paff. Russell is survived by his son, Jay Paff (Terri); daughters, Rhonda McCarthy (Brian), Edie Watson, and Shari Pena-Valdes; 9 grandchildren, Nickolas (Samantha), Jenny, Frank, Jolene, Chris, Matthew, Amber, Josh, and Stephen; A sister, Trudy Rowe, and many other relatives and friends. Russell proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1956 – 1963 as a Seabee. He loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest joy was found in the time he spent with his family, especially the love of his life, June. A graveside service will be held at  Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Saratoga, NY at 12:30 pm, Friday, July 16, 2021. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held following the service from 1 - 4 pm at The Fairways of Halfmoon Clubhouse.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to the George Peterson Memorial Scholarship, it can be mailed to RIT Office of Development, P.O.
