AMBROSE, Ronald Lee “Ron” – 60 of Aylett, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Latane and Kate Milby Clark, and Virginia and Julian Ambrose, and his mother and father-in-law, Harry and Lauretta McCurry. He is survived by his beloved wife and “Darlin’” of 19 years, Tracie Ambrose; sons, Matthew (Erica), and TJ (Ivey); daughter, Jennifer (Chris); grandchildren, Jaiden, Jay (Bocifis), Peyton, Olivia “Lil’ darlin”, Chase “Deuce”, Greyson “Bull”, London “Baby Darlin’”, Kele “Hawk”, and Sawyer “Huck”; his parents, James randy Ambrose and Myrtle M. Ambrose; his brother, James (Wanda); sister, Amy (Chris); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and in-laws. Ron loved Gulf cruising, his job, and a good joke. He was known for his always “perfect” hair. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and is simply irreplaceable. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 pm, on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Hanover Memorial Park. A catered reception will be held at the funeral home after the graveside services.
