JENSEN, Jr., Bob “Greywolf”, 81 of Mechanicsville, VA peacefully passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Julia Wilson Jensen; 5 children, Lynne Jensen Ahles (Dean), Pamela Jensen Garrett (Wes), Robert Jensen III (Nancy), Dan J. Gilreath (Tiffiny), and Kate Gilreath Grimes (Anthony); 8 grandchildren, Amy (Jon), Eric, Maria (Zach), Katelynn (Kurt), Wesley, Kristina, Tasia, and Jackson; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Jensen Ragsdale; and his first wife, Linda Evans. Bob grew up in the Norfolk area and graduated from VCU with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He retired from Philip Morris after over 20 years of dedicated service as a chemist. He was a proud member of AA for 37 years, and a member of Pathwork. Bob loved the outdoors, especially the beach and the mountains. He was a shooting enthusiast and loved Competition Cowboy Shooting. He was a member of the Black Creek Gun Club, as well as a member of “SASS” (Single Action Shooting Society) for over 20 years. He loved animals, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Bob found peace in Native American spirituality. The family will receive friends from 2- 4 pm, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 where a memorial service will be held at 4 pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mid-Atlantic Pathwork or your favorite charity.
