Richard Clyde Garthright

GARTHRIGHT, Richard C.- 92 of Mechanicsville, VA departed this life, Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Jane Garthright. He is survived by his daughters, Gina Hensley (Keith), Lisa Waitman (Lindsay), and Mona Pratt (Warren); seven grandchildren, Cierra, Laine, Kody, Kellee, Jace, Bryce, and Lexa; and five great-grandchildren, Kamdyn, Kynadee, Jaxson, Merryn, and Soren. Richard proudly served his country in the US Navy. He owned and operated Janard’s Beauty School. He was a hard worker and loved his family. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222.
