TRAYLOR, Sr., Randy Lee – 70 of Chesterfield, VA departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years, Cassie Elizabeth “Beth” Hayes Traylor; his parents, Richard and Janet Traylor; his father-in-law, James Hayes; He is survived by his children, Lee Traylor, Jr., and Iris Elizabeth Traylor; sister, Debra Skatzes (Steve); nephew, Bobby Traylor; mother-in-law, Josephine Hayes; sister-in-law, Margaret Hayes; niece, Rachel Shrewsbury; and many other beloved family and friends. Randy was employed with Jasper Engines for over thirty years. He was full of life and always quick with a joke. He was good at everything he did, because if he wasn’t good at it, he didn’t do it. He possessed the “gift of gab” and loved making people laugh. He could sing a song out of tune with all the wrong lyrics. He was generous and always willing to help those in need. Randy loved sports, darts, hunting, fishing, and outdoor games such as corn hole and can jam. He enjoyed spending time at the river with his loving wife, children, and friends. He is now reunited with the love of his life and will be greatly missed by all of us. “Randy, it’s time to say the blessing!” Forever our “DOB”. The family will receive friends, 6 - 8 pm, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025.
