DRAGO, Patricia Anne- passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born in New York in 1944, she raised her family in Queens and Oceanside. She had a long and successful career as a Financial Advisor with Vanderbilt Financial Group. She moved to Virginia in 2013 to be with her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Joseph, and her parents, Tom and Rose.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Justine and Gaetano (Allison); grandchildren, Steven Inforzato (Julieanne), Jacqueline Drago, and Dominic Drago; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Inforzato; as well as her beloved Bassett, Archie.
Patricia loved to be outdoors, whether sitting on the porch watching the birds, camping with her family, or at the beach. She was an amazing baker and cook, loved coffee, and was a bourbon aficionado. She loved crossword puzzles and reading, always the first to have a new David Baldacci or Brad Thor book.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 5 - 8 PM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
