McGee, Norman - 93 of Sandston, VA departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Linwood and Mary Susie McGee; siblings, Virginia, Linwood, Clarence, Helen, and Jimmy. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan McGee; his daughters, Laurie Spiers (David), and Julie Middleton (Tim); grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Mallory, Allison, Kelly, Ryan, Parker, and Emily: great-grandchildren, Addison, Noah, Olivia, and Morgan; and many other relatives and friends. Norman was a devoted family man and cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren. He served as a coach and umpire for the Sandston Little League for many years. He was the VP and equipment manager for the Sandston Jets football team. He enjoyed running in marathons and completed two full marathons and numerous half-marathons. He had a wonderful singing voice and sang with the Virginians Barbershop Chorus. In true Irish fashion, Norman loved St. Patrick’s Day at O’Toole’s. He had a kind and gentle nature, a great sense of humor, and always loved to tell a story. He will be greatly missed. In keeping with his wishes, all services will be private.
