Nancy (Atwell) Tyler

TYLER, Nancy – 75 of Chesterfield, VA peacefully went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry, and Pearl Atwell; her sisters, Judy Peloquin and Brenda Owens; and her brother, Porky Atwell. She is survived by her children, Warren Tyler (Kathy), Karen Lawson (Bob), Crystal Tyler- Mackey (Jeremy), and Kevin Tyler (Darlene); her niece, Jenny Rude; nephew, Chad Owens; and numerous other beloved family and friends including the absolute joys of her life, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nancy was employed by Western Electric, and Lucent Technologies, before retiring from Phillip Morris. She had a strong and abiding faith and was a member of Southside Church. Nancy had a beautiful spirit and no matter the circumstances she remained ever joyful and kind. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know and love her. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 pm, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a funeral service to follow at 4 pm. Private interment will be Monday, March 20, 2023, at Riverview Cemetery, 1401 S Randolph St, Richmond, VA 23220.
