Nancy Talley Taylor

TAYLOR, Nancy T. – 86 of Mechanicsville, VA gained her heavenly wings, Wednesday, July 31, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Julian Taylor; her parents, George and Iola Talley; and a dear cousin, Michael Cassidy. She is survived by her children, Cathy Carter (Ed), Chuck Bischoff (Lisa), and Nicholas Bischoff (Sandra); six grandchildren, Chris Carter (Melissa), Stephanie Carter (Justin), Nathan Bischoff (April), Brandon Bischoff (Lisa), Channing Bischoff (Nicole), and Nicholas Walmsley (McKenzie); ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, long car and motorcycle rides with her late husband, bowling, and sailing. She was a member of the Power Squadron Sailing Club. Her greatest love was the time she spent with her family. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A graveside service will be held at noon, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA 23238.
