Nancy (Milano) Passal

PASSAL, Nancy Milano, 93, of Mechanicsville, VA, is in God’s loving care as of Saturday, June 18, 2022. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Passal and Vicki Harper (Mark); Her granddaughter, Amber Passal Elder (Chris); her great-grandson, Luke Abshire; her great-granddaughter, Meadow Elder; her sister, Mary Malignaggi and Mary’s daughters, Karen Giorgi and Sheryl Hutton; her nieces and nephews, Frank, Vincent, Michael, Amabile, and Mary Ann Milano and Angela Goddard. Nancy was also like a second mother to her daughter’s best friends, Giselle Issa, Robin Mills, Patricia Seniw, and Vickie Hensley. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Pietro and Marianna Milano; her children, Tony and Linda Passal; and her siblings, Ann Lorenz and Frank, Johnny, Tony, and Sam Milano; and a number of loved nieces and nephews. Nancy owned and ran a business in Beckley, WV and singlehandedly supported and raised her four children. She was a loving mother, and her children and their friends could always turn to her for advice. Nancy was a fantastic cook. Over the years, many loved ones - family and visitors - sat at her table eating her amazing spaghetti sauce and sharing stories. She loved animals and rescued and cared for many over her lifetime. Nancy kept us entertained until the end and we will miss her, and her infectious laugh, forever.The family will receive friends from 9-10 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, where a service of Christian Rights will be held at 10 am. Interment will follow at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA in Nancy’s memory.
