Michael Allen Thomas

THOMAS, Michael Allen- 27, passed away, Monday October 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Linwood, and Agnes Thomas; his great-grandparents, Alden, and Dorothy Ruffin; his uncle, Rodney Thomas; and his cousin, Nicholas Pleasants. Michael is survived by his loving parents, David, and Lauri Thomas; his brother, Joe Mitchem; sister, Sarah Mitchem; niece, Kaitlynn Towner; nephew, Josh Fleming; his grandparents, Betty and Chester Cousins and George and Carolyn Waymack;  his aunts and uncles, Henry and Sherri Hughes, Kristi and Tim Pleasants, and Daniel and Liz Cousins; and his cousins, Olivia and Victoria Pleasants, Rebecca Hughes, and Diana Wilkerson. Michael enjoyed baseball, weightlifting and spending time with his family and friends. His smile lit up every room he entered, and his laughter was contagious. He possessed an immense love for his family, especially his niece and nephew. His strength and energy will be what we hold onto to get us through a life without him.  We are just forever grateful for the precious time we had with us. All services will be private.
