Melinda (Johnson) Morgan

MORGAN, Melinda Johnson, 63, of Ashland, VA went to be with the Lord, Sunday,  February 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine B. and James W. Johnson. Melinda is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Fred H. Morgan, III; and her sister’s-in-law, Annette Walker and Cathy Moldenhauer. Melinda was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and a member of MENSA. She was a lifelong devoted fan of the Peanuts comic strip and all creations by Charles Schultz. She was an avid collector of Peanuts related memorabilia with a special fondness for Spike. When she was able, she and Fred liked to visit flea markets and antique shops. She had many fond memories of trips to the Outer Banks which is also where she and Fred honeymooned. She was the light of Fred’s life and will be dearly missed until they are reunited in heaven. All services will be private.
