Megan Madison Mitchell

MITCHELL, Megan 42 of Mechanicsville, Va went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Megan was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Madison, and her sister-in-law, Heather Childress. Megan is survived by her parents, Marian and Ben Williams and Dorothy Madison; her sister, Donna Mason (Shane); her twin brother, Josh Madison (Emily); and brothers Rossa Madison (Kelly), and Robbie Childress; her nieces, Mackenzie, Ava, Reilly, and Lauren; her nephews, Drew, Wyatt and Lawson; and great-nephew, Zane; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Megan was a compassionate, caring, and loving daughter, sister, and friend. Megan graduated from Lee-Davis High School in 2001 and went on to work for the State of Virginia for 16 and a half years, where she had made many close friends, including, Jenni Dorsey, Jay Guy and Tammy Hicks, who were more like family. She loved spending time with family and her dear friends, Jennifer Sluder, Kristen Bullock and Carly Thomas, and just being home with her cat, Callie. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life from 2 pm – 4 pm on January 10, 2026, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
