Megan Keely Bryant

BRYANT, Megan Keely, 34, of Henrico, VA, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert L. and Ida B. Bryant; and her maternal grandparents, Guy B. Meeks, Jr.  and Audrey T. Meeks.  Megan is survived by her beloved son, Archer Daniel Bryant; fiancé, Michael Abbott and his daughter Brooke Abbott; her devoted parents, Victor D. and Cynthia M. Bryant; brothers, Eric Wolf (Jennifer) and Christopher Meeks (Megan); sister, LaShell Wade; nephews, Corbin Meeks, Zachary Easton; nieces, Natalie Wade and Kaitlyn Wolf; aunts, Pamela Bryant, and Rebecca Wallace (Buddy); uncles, Robert Schwartz and Michael Meeks (Christy); grandmother, Jacquelyn Meeks; and numerous cousins and friends. Megan was a gifted artist. She loved drawing and painting. She was a dedicated, long-time employee of Capital One, where she was recently promoted to Senior Associate Operations Production Coordinator for Credit Bureau Disputes. When Megan wasn’t working, she enjoyed relaxing by the lake, creating her beautiful works of art, marathon sleeping, and spending time with her family. She was a terrific mother and cherished her son. The family will receive friends, Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 5 – 6 pm, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will be held at 6 pm. A reception and time of fellowship will follow the service in the funeral home lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor and memory can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, National Breast Cancer Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
