Mary Ann, known as "Cookie" to her family and friends, was a long-time member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Richmond, Virginia. As a resident of Mechanicsville, Virginia she worked at Ben Franklin Crafts as Craft Coordinator and starred in the Ben Franklin Craft Hour on Blab TV for many years delighting audiences with her inimitable humor and creativity. Mary Ann was recognized all over Richmond from her TV appearances to the point that her grandchildren would exclaim; "everyone knows Gramma!"
Mary Ann's sense of humor was evident every Christmas Eve with her "family" gifts. All of us remember the Snuggie Christmas with the howls of laughter and great photos. Mary Ann passed her love of cooking to her son Jim who uses her barbecue sauce recipe in the family barbecue business and in competitions.
As an avid crafter, Mary Ann participated in numerous craft competitions and shows with her husband Robert, winning numerous accolades. Her Christmas ornaments adorn many trees and are now treasured keepsakes.
