Martha Diane (Green) Fulwider

Fulwider, Martha D., 70 of Hopewell, Va., went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Louise Green; a sister, Mary; brothers, Thomas and William; a granddaughter, Jasmyne Montez; and a niece, Melody Green Nunnally. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Fulwider; Children, Tammy Stewart, James Fender, Kevin Fulwider, and Crystal Fulwider (Jesse Sr.); 10 grandchildren, Keana, Tra, Erik, Mariah, Ashley, James, Mia, Jesse Jr., Anthony, and Chloe; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Vaughan; brother, John Green; mother-in-law, Margaret Goswick; and numerous other family members and friends. Martha was a professional wardrobe dresser for the IATSE Local 87 stagehand union in Richmond, Virginia. She worked as a waitress at Moon Garden Chinese Restaurant and Carini’s. She has a special love for gardening, animals, cooking, hummingbirds, and most importantly, the Lord, as she was an active member of two different churches. Martha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will truly be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 12 PM on November 19, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home; 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA. 23111, with a funeral service at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Green’s Family Cemetery; 1525 Latanes Mill Rd, Tappahannock, VA. 22560. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
