Marsha Ann Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Marsha Ann- 77 of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bernice Tucker; her daughter, Kelly Jamison; brother, John Payne; and sister, Brenda Airington. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Gallagher; her children, David (Jennifer), Shannon, and son-in-law, Mark Jamison; grandchildren, Alex (Sam), Colton, Rosalie, Savannah, John, (Brittani), and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Ben, Luke, and Lily; and a sister, Sandra Smith (Leo). Marsha was a member of Northside Baptist Church,  and a volunteer at Hanover Humane Society. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 2, 2024, at Northside Baptist Church, 7600 Studley Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116 with a reception immediately following at the church. Interment will be held at 2 pm, at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hanover Humane Society.
