Marjorie C. Metzler

Metzler, Marjorie C. - 79 of Quinton, VA passed away quietly, surrounded by family on Thursday, July 6, 2023.  Marjorie was born in Lynbrook, NY, and lived most of her life in Germantown, NY where she worked as the town librarian.  In retirement, she and her husband (Joseph C. Metzler Jr.) moved to Quinton, VA to be close to family.  Marjorie was an avid reader and loved her family.  She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years and her brother, Richard von der Osten.  She is survived by her two sisters, Gwen Suesse and Barbara Kroger; two sons, Timothy (Sarah) Metzler and David (Nina) Metzler; and two grandsons, William, and Andrew Metzler.  All services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to The Children's Museum at Saratoga.
