PILCHER, Marion Elizabeth; 86 of Henrico, passed away on December 27, 2024, at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Hospice Care. She is preceded by Richards Berkley Pilcher, her husband of 61 years. She is survived by her four children, John R. Pilcher and his wife, Joni, Richards B. Pilcher, Jr., and his wife, Mary, Susan A. Hall and her husband, Daniel, and Sandra M. Alpher and her husband, Aaron; her six grandchildren, Richards B. Pilcher, III (Ashley), Casey J. Pilcher (Katrina), Tucker J. Hall (fiancé Jessica), Allison M. Vargas (Patrick), Emily D. Peters, and Kayla M. Lay (Brandon); her four great-grandchildren, Bailey and Oliver Peters, Sydney Pilcher, and Cameron Lay; her brother, James Conway (Martha); her sister, Nancy Jacques (Robert); and her brother, Raymond Conway. Marion worked for Sears & Roebuck for 27 years in Front Office Support. She loved spending time with her husband and family, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116, followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. A private graveside service will be held that afternoon at Hanover Memorial Park, 4447 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Richmond or Friends of the Henrico County Public Library.
