Loretta (Tyree) Donaldson

Donaldson, Loretta A Tyree, 67, of Charles City, VA passed away, Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Edward Tyree and Peggy Louise Morris; her brother, Dave Edward Tyree; her sister, Carol Lynn Tyree Fulwider. Loretta is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, John A. Donaldson; a sister, Patricia Gail Tyree; nephews and niece, “Little” David Edward Fulwider, Jacob Ryan Tyree, Jonathan Edward Tyree, and Jamie Lynn Tyree; great nephews; sister-in-law, Bonita B Tyree; and beloved Aunt Rose Tyree Anderson. Once co-owner of Joe’s Inn (Shields Ave), Lucky Strike Night Club and other businesses in Richmond, Loretta left and went into real-estate. Later she and her husband, John, created a construction business and specialized in preservation of historical plantations. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
