Lloyd "Billy" William Hobson

HOBSON, Lloyd W. “Billy” – 77, passed away on March 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd E. and Frances L. Hobson. He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Linda; his children, Chris Hobson (Deborah), Cheryl Guess (Jeff), and Stephanie Acors (Lee). He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Caroline and Will Hobson, Alison and Sydney Guess, and Erin and Melissa Acors. Billy proudly served in both the Virginia Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. He later retired from DuPont after 30 years. Billy loved all sports, good fishing, 50’s music, and most importantly, time shared with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Billy was known for his kindness and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. A private interment will be held at Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery in Amelia.
