Anderson Jr. Linwood “Andy”- 47 of Mechanicsville, VA departed this life on January 17, 2026. He is preceded in death by his father, Linwood Anderson Sr.; his grandparents, James and June Clark; and his beloved dogs, Miley and Roxy. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Stephanie; their four children, Tyler Aydan, Tinsley Autumn, Taylor Avery, and Trae Anthony; mother, Linda; Sister, Melissa Fritts (Brice); Mother and Father-in-law, Michael and Donna Garcia; nieces, Kelsey, Kayla, Leanna, Kenzie, Kori, Ava, and Addy; his precious dogs, Coco and Hank; and numerous other family and friends. Andy’s greatest love was his children. He never missed a single moment to be involved in his kids’ competitive sports. You could guarantee that he would always be on the sidelines cheering them on. Apart from his children, Andy and Stephanie's love story was his favorite. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend who was always known to give the shirt off his back to help someone else in need. He had a deep love for his 2019 Dodge Challenger, golfing, and fishing with his dad. Andy was proud to work at Snyder Solutions, where he had the chance to do what he enjoyed. Stephanie and Andy started the 4x4 campaign, or “Andy Strong,” which symbolized people coming together to give Andy strength when he was weak. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on January 23, 2026, at Atlee Community Church, 7171 Verdi Lane, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that you perform a random act of kindness just as Andy would have done
