Linda Sue Walls

WALLS, Linda Sue, 73, of Henrico, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Richard M. Walls and Sally J. Cameron; and her nephew, Brent C. Harris. Linda is survived by her loving siblings, Rick Hollis (Pamela) and Judy Fryer; her nephews, James Hollis (Jeanne) and Zach Hollis (Megan); her many other family members, Jayden, Aubrey, Branigan, Margot, Finn, Althea; her special friend, Jesse Herring; and her godchildren, Lily and Abbey. Linda had a passion for animals, especially being a devout feline lover. She was a cat rescuer all her life. She gave love and money to multiple animal rescue organizations, locally and nationally. Linda worked for almost 20 years at Capital One, where she had a meaningful network of colleagues and was a recipient of numerous outstanding achievement awards.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a celebration of life to follow at 1:00 PM, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Please bring memories of Linda to share. The interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked if donations can be made in Linda’s name to any animal rescue organization or to do something kind to help any animal in need.
