Linda Fuller Obituary

FULLER, Linda Ann , age 70, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Ms. Fuller was born May 21, 1950 in Grass Valley California, the daughter of the late Barbara Corbit.  Ms. Fuller worked as an  LPN for the past forty years. She began her nursing career in 1980 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She worked in many different fields of nursing throughout the years and recently retired from Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA, after 20 years. Linda genuinely loved her job and was devoted to the care of her patients who she affectionately called "her guys". She loved to read a good book, enjoyed movies, but most importantly, she was an avid animal lover. She was a very open-minded person and while she didn't hesitate to speak her mind, she was gentle with her words and was never judgmental. Linda was full of light, laughter, love and always gave the best hugs.  Ms.  Fuller is survived by her three sons, Todd Elkins (Shannon), Tony Elkins (Tammy), Trevor Elkins (Jackie); four grandchildren, Kylie Carter, Breana Renick, Tristan Elkins, and Slade Salisbury; three great grandchildren, Wyatt Colton, Annie Mae and Declan Oliver; one brother, Michael Stengl (Brenda) of Madison Heights, Virginia; one sister, Donna Lind(Don Castle) of Auburn, California; four nieces, Tami Weigel, Traci Harrington, Lara Freitas and Lisa Smyrni; and two nephews, Troy Lind and Christopher Stengl. In addition to her mother, Ms Fuller is preceded in death by her sister, Susan Sperry of Lincoln, California. The family will be honoring her wishes by having a private service while cherishing her memory with a glass of her favorite wine, a touch of glitter and listening to her favorite musicians, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and Joe Walsh.
