Lanis Jearl Cook

COOK, Lanis Jearl, 77, went to be with the Lord on, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his beloved home in King & Queen County. He was born on July 16, 1946 in Russell County, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Avah and John Cook; and his brother, Tommy and Linda Cook. He was survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Cook; his two daughters, Marla Carroll (Will) and Mary Farnsworth; his six grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Carl Taylor (Ohio); and his devoted friends, The Campbell’s (Hanover County). Lanis was a supervisor at Nabisco for 24 years. The family wants to give a special thank you to his hospice nurse, Kim Davis, for all her assistance. Per his request, there will be no funeral services.
