Julie Eleanor Hicks

HICKS, JULIE- 59 of Sandston, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Shirley Hicks. She is survived by her sisters, Claudia “Cookie” Hicks Cage and Cynthia “Cindy” Hicks Luck; her nieces, Courtney Cage Griffin and Ashley Luck Hogue; her great-nieces, Savannah Chewning and Olivia Hogue; and her precious fur baby and best friend, Princess. Julie was a spunky, spitfire with a great sense of humor and absolutely no filter. She loved the beach, trips to Kings Dominion, and attending NASCAR races. She enjoyed fishing, going to the river, and country music. Julie was also obsessed with Garfield. She was a wonderful and loving sister and aunt and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8 pm, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a memorial service to follow at 8 pm.
