Joshua Eric Haithcock

Haithcock, Joshua E-  peacefully passed away, Sunday, December 12, 2021, surrounded by an Army Of Angels. He is survived by his kick ass wife of nearly 28 years, Beth Haithcock; his sons, Senior Airman Lucas C Haithcock and Jacob R Haithcock; his parents, Brad and Alice Lee Haithcock; brother, Ryan Haithcock (Sharon); mother-in-law, Linda Gross; sister-in-law, Amy Stanaway; best nephew ever, Tyler Stanaway; favorite niece, Taylor Stanaway; aunt, Jeannie (Garry); aunt, Pam; cousins, Cindy, Debbie, Susan, Heather, and little Cousin Hannah; and many friends that were part of his family. Josh enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to metal music and hanging out with his many friends. He was always rooting for his favorite sports teams, (Redskins, Capitals, and Man City). He watched his final game cheering as the Redskins defeated the Raiders. He looked forward to the annual Family Beach Week Gathering, where tons of fun is had by all. The Mountain trips with his wife and sons were always a special time where cherished memories were made. He was very proud of his sons.  He taught them to be strong by never letting them win in a competition against him. Never forget Dad is #1. He went to be Home with God and his Heavenly Family. Until we meet again, Josh will always be in the hearts of his family and friends. Josh loved the many rescue pets that were part of our family over the years. The family would like to encourage all those attending the visitation and service to please wear whatever attire they have to show their support for their favorite sports team. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with visitation afterward from 3 - 5 pm.
