It is with profound sadness that we announce that on May 23rd, 2025, Timothy Brooks unexpectedly passed away, at the age of 59.
Born on August 26th, 1965, in Richmond, Virginia. Tim was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and a wonderful friend.
Tim served a professional career at James River Equipment for over 40 years in sales. Tim was dedicated to his clients in so many ways that many of them became his dearest friends. Tim not only created lifelong clients, but lifelong family.
Charlie Chaplin said, “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” Tim never wasted a day.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Walton; his close friend, Keith Martin; and his grandparents, Granny and Papa Askew.
Tim is survived by his wife, Becky Brooks; his children, Collin and Megan; his mother, Lois Walton; his sisters, Janet and Stephanie; one of his closest friends, Karen; his beloved dog, Finley; his friends, Mike, Mark, Robert, Steve, and Brock; his extended family, Justin and Sara Jane; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a celebration of life to follow at 11:30 AM.
