Joseph "Steve" Minson, Jr.

MINSON Jr., Joseph “Steve”, 65, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with Jesus and the love of his life on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose (Bob); his father, Joe; and his loving wife, Nancy. Steve is survived by his son, Stevie; a devoted aunt, Mary Jackson; and many other loving family members and friends.  Steve was a dedicated employee of Bruce Auto Parts in Mechanicsville for 42 years. In his spare time, he could be found fishing, surfcasting, and relic hunting.  Being in the antique business for 15 years, he loved going to see what other antique shops had to offer.  He especially enjoyed racing with his son and spending time at the beach and the mountains. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a memorial service to follow at 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad.
