John Wayne Rochon

ROCHON, John W. 77, of Highland Springs, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Rochon, and his sister, Sandra Reid. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith, he lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and service. He was a loving husband to Debbie, a proud father of two sons, and a caring daughter-in-law. He adored his two grandsons and cherished every moment with them. A faithful churchgoer and Christian, he found joy in helping others and making people smile. He coached youth baseball and played softball with his church league, always leading with heart and humility. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Washington Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather at Sandston Baptist Church for refreshments and fellowship afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sandston Baptist Church, Richmond SPCA, or ChildFund.org.
