John L. Parlitsis

PARLITSIS, John L. – 74 of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lazarus and Despina; and his sister, Thelma. He is survived by his loving wife, Joni; and his children, Ariella and Michael. John was a diehard NHL Rangers fan, and a disappointed NY Giants Fan. He was a furrier by trade, but an artist by heart and an avid GSD lover. He had a strong passion for his vegetable garden. He enjoyed his VWs and always found a way to personalize them. John was kind, gentle, and never had a mean word to say about anyone. The family will receive friends from 4-5 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
