Jerome D. Stack

STACK, Jerome L. 88, of Mechanicsville, VA went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was preceded in death just two days prior, by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Stack; his parents, Peter and Rosalie Tarnowski Stack; a grandson, Daniel Edward Stack; and a great- grandson, Easton Roy Shepherd. Jerome is survived by 3 children, Jerome D. Stack Jr. (Susan), Susan S. Wawrzyniak (Karl), and Michele S. Martin (Drew); 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Stack, and a sister, Patricia De’Andrade (Robin). Before his illness, Jerome was a longtime member of the Catholic Church of the Redeemer. He was a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus and a retired US Navy veteran. He enjoyed playing guitar, exercising, and playing sports. His greatest love was time spent with his family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for him and his beloved wife, 10 am, Monday, December 31, 2018, at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116, with interment to follow at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus.
