Jeff Garnett, 55, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Garnett; grandmother, Mary Dorothy Beadles; father-in-law, Eugene Carter; and his sister, Karen “Cheille” Hope. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Stacey; his children, Chase (Courtney), Sarah, and Cooper; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Carter; his sister, Leigh Anne Garnett; and his brother-in-law, Rodney (Michelle) Carter.
Jeff loved to spend time with his family above all else. He also enjoyed days spent boating, grilling, or anything else he could do outdoors. He always had a “project of the week”, loved to sleep by the fire, and to play with his grand dogs whenever he could. He could fix anything and was always quick to offer a helping hand to anyone in need, if he could help, he would be there.
The family will receive friends from 11 am - 12 pm, with a funeral service to begin at noon, on Wednesday, March 19th, at Monaghan Funeral Home; 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Interment to follow the service at Howertons Baptist Church; 3875 Essex Mill Road, Dunnsville, VA 22454.
