Jean Edwards Foley

Foley, Jean Edwards of Richmond, VA passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023. She was born to Samuel and Florence Edwards on April 1, 1938, in Hampton, VA. Jean was preceded in death by her son, John and her granddaughter, Amanda. She is survived by her sons, Ed (Leigh), Mike (Cindy), Bob (Amy); 6 grandchildren Alex (Molly), Ian (Kimberly), Charlotte, Kevin (Megan), Ben (Jordan) and Katherine Foley; and 6 great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her brother Sam Edwards (Linda) and sister, Peggy Lastinger (Jim).

Her strong faith and unconditional love for her family, and others, was a gift to us all.  Her church family at Redeemer Lutheran Church provided her with support and kindness throughout her life. The family is so grateful for the loving care mom received at Our Lady of Hope.

A graveside service will be held at Dale Memorial Park on Saturday, March 4th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9400 Redbridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23236 or Our Lady of Hope-About Town Fund 13700 N. Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23233.
