TOLBERT, Jr. ,Jack Clint; 62, of King William, VA pulled his final slip on Thursday, September 10, 2020, and now knows what it is to soar with heavenly silk. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Clint Tolbert, Sr. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Vickie Hite Tolbert; his children, Sarah Heinsman (Brian), Amanda Alling (Brian), Jaclyn Tolbert, Derek Epps (Amy), and Rick Pressnell (Nicole); darling grandchildren, Grady, Silas, Virginia, Evelyn, Marilyn, Elijah, Luke, Lily, Calob, and Mackenzie; his mother, Mary Ann Tolbert; mother-in-law Polly Hite; his sister, Lisa Tolbert-Puga; a nephew, Andrew Puga; and many cousins and friends. Jack was born in Saltville, VA and was a life-long Hanover resident until he purchased his farm in King William County.  He graduated from Lee-Davis High School in 1976 and immediately joined the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne, Charlie Company, where he proudly served until 1980. After his military service, he trained to be a pipefitter and eventually started his own business with two of his friends. He retired in 2006 due to health reasons but stayed active by enjoying his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Jack was a devoted husband (to Miss Vickie), father and grandfather, brother and uncle, and cherished his time spent with his beloved family. He was exceedingly proud of his beautiful farm in King William which he named after his daughters (Ehawee Farm aka, Laughing Girl Farm). His passionate spirit and loving heart will be greatly missed.
