MAHAM, Gordon Steve “Pop” – 74 of Sandston, VA peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, and Haven Maham; a brother, Bart Maham; and his nephew, Will Maham. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Sue Maham; two daughters, Amy Irvin (fiancé, Kyle Bickling), and Sarah Brown (Stu); six grandchildren, Macie, Hannah, Logan, Bailey, Grace, and Caroline; as well as four bonus grandchildren, Kole, Delaney, Luke, and Josie; a brother, Bill Maham (Roxane); sister, Geraldine McNamara (Gary); and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon proudly served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a long-time employee of Hauni Richmond. Prior to his failing health, he enjoyed playing golf. “Pop” loved to travel, especially cruising with his beautiful wife. He was a loving and devoted family man and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 2- 6 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A Memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday, November 28, 2022, at Sandston Baptist Church, 100 W. Williamsburg Rd, Sandston, VA 23150.
