WALL, George A. - On Friday, July 21st, 2023, George A. Wall was called home to be with Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marjorie Wall; and his best friend, Randy. George is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Faye; children, Zoie Martin, Heidi Smith (Steve), Kim Goodman (Chris), Danielle Wood, Sam Wall, Adam Wood, Olivia Roop (Kenneth); sisters, Maxine Barrett (Bob), Debbie Blunt; Jetty Henry (Reuben); and many loving grandchildren. 

George was the most loving man who made everyone feel heard and appreciated. His laugh was contagious and his hugs would heal a broken heart. George did not have a mean bone in his body for anyone or thing. He loved being at home with his family and friends - surrounded by laughter. George enjoyed going to Hatteras beach in NC, to the mountains in the Blue Ridge, and concerts with his wife and friends. Dad loved looking for shells in Hatteras and every one he found was a treasure - little did he know, he was the treasure. <3 

The family will receive friends from 11am to 12 pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A memorial service will begin at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU or to the American Liver Foundation. Continuation of the celebration of life for all who would like to attend held at Faye and George's home at 3pm.
